Welcome to the Dog House
Team K9 Kahunas!!
We are a gnarly team of San Diego rescue dogs who love to surf, play and (sometimes) just hang out at the beach. The purpose of our team is 1) to have fun and 2) to participate in dog surfing contests to help raise funds for notable causes.
Of course, if there is ever a kibble eating fund raiser, don't count us out just because we're surf dogs! We could probably be coaxed into thinking outside the surf, especially if it involves kibbles.
Our site is still evolving but, come on in and sniff around for awhile!! Please check back often as we will be continuing to add and edit content. Also, be sure to check out our links section to see what some of our surfing buddies are up to.

Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 4:25PM Happy 2010 Surf Dog Season!! Guido is thinking about "early retirement" from the world of surfing and instead taking up the roll of "coach". His little brother Antonio (Tony) will be stepping up to fill in his paws. Tony surfed with us in our last two competitions of 2009. HWAC was his premiere. He did very well, got some experience and confidence then, in October, went to "Surf City, Surf Dog" in Huntington where he won 2nd Place in the small dog heat and also won the "crowd pleaser" award!!
Kona and Tony will be surfing at the annual Loews Coronado Resort Surf Dog Contest on May 22nd in Imperial Beach, CA. We invite you to come and hang with us at our "K9 Kahunas" headquarters. Just look for our banner on our tent!!
